To use the translate tool in Google Docs, you must open the file on a Chromebook or laptop. It's important to know that this translation is done by computers, so it may not be completely accurate. Google Docs has a built-in translation tool that uses Google Translate to make a copy of a document in a chosen language. To better translate documents collaboratively, Google should integrate Google Translator Toolkit into Google Docs. The problem is that in both cases there’s no link between the original document and the translation. Google will translate your document and offer two options: “Replace original document with this translation” and “Copy to new document”. Click on the “Tools” menu, select “Translate document” and choose the destination language.
Google Docs is now integrated with Google Translate so you can translate documents directly from the word processor’s interface.
